Christa has held a love of plants for as long as she can remember. After graduating from The North Carolina School of Natural Healing in 1999, she began creating her own botanical remedies.

Her main focus was geared toward skin health. "Your skin is like a mirror to your internal health, issues that come to surface are letting you know that there is imbalance."

She, herself, has extremely sensitive skin and reacts negatively to every mainstream skin care product she tries. She has linked many of her reactions to chemicals found in today's food and personal care products.

From her knowledge of botanical medicine and her wholistic view of skin health, botanicalbasics™ has emerged.
